StopWaste is seeking qualified individuals or firms with expertise in working with government agencies on recycled product procurement issues and environmentally preferable purchasing. The selected individuals or firms will provide services on an on-call basis, as determined by StopWaste staff. They will provide technical assistance to StopWaste’s member agencies (Alameda County, fourteen cities, and two sanitary districts) with purchase of recycled content products, adoption and implementation of environmentally preferable purchasing policies, and updates to fact sheets and support materials. The RFQ is open until March 30, 2026 at 5 pm PT. Through this RFQ, StopWaste may select one or more individuals or firms to provide services from May 2026 – June 2032.
