A Journey of Zero Waste within SFUSD

The K-12 TC will host a webinar March 5, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm featuring the San Francisco Unified School District Sustainability Department. They will be sharing their strategies for moving to ZeroWaste.

Reaching a point of sustainable resource management within a school district is a long-term, complicated process. SFUSD's attributes much of it's previous and continued success to it's partners in it's journey toward reaching Zero Waste. This webinar will explain the history of waste management in SFUSD as well as the projects in place for increased waste diversion from landfills district-wide.
