How to use Discussion Forums provides Discussion Forum  - a place where the community can post messages and information. Use it as a place for your community to congregate, collaborate, discuss and share their ideas.

Discussion Forums are for our Technical Councils and CRRA Members (you must be logged into the Members' Portal to access the Members' Forum).

**Creating Topics - please note that only CRRA members may create new Forum Topics (and must be logged into the Member Portal to do so) but the community at large is able to read and comment Forum Discussions.

Once you Subscribe to a forum, you are automatically signed up to receive email notifications about new posts.  Please note these are just notifications, you must still visit the website/forum in order to view the forum/topic or post, you cannot post/view directly via email.  So this makes it a little different than a listserv, but the big advantage is THERE IS A RECORD OF ALL DISCUSSIONS ONLINE FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS TO SEE.

Rather than, or in addition to subscribing to an entire forum, such as the HHW discussion forum, a member might want to subscribe to specific topics only.  In this case go to the desired topic and use the Subscribe to Topic link.

NOTIFICATIONS:  To change whether you receive notifications immediately, daily or weekly, please go to your profile and select "Email Settings".

Summary: Members as well as each TC have their own unique Discussion Area/Webpage, and members may post topics or comment on topic threads. Members may subscribe to the entire forum and/or specific topics.

Forum participants are not able to post documents but they may post url links to a document they wish to share.

Like to join an additional TC? You may Update Your Profile (link to view profile is located at the top of the screen on any page), or contact Despina M. Kreatsoulas.
